CyberCorps® DoD Cyber Scholarship Program (CySP)
A Cyber Scholarship program through the Department of DefenseThe purpose of the program is to support the recruitment of new cyber talent and the retention of current highly skilled professionals within the DoD cyber workforce. Additionally, this program serves to enhance the national pipeline for the development of cyber personnel by providing grants to institutions of higher education.
Eligibility
Applicants must:
- be a U.S. Citizen
- have one full academic year remaining in their degree program
- meet GPA requirements:
- Undergraduate students must have a 3.2 GPA
- Graduate students must have a 3.5 GPA
Program Benefits
The CySP scholarship award includes stipend, tuition and allowances for students in the area of cybersecurity. This scholarships provides academic year stipends of $27,000 per year for undergraduate students and $32,000 per year for graduate students. The scholarship also provides tuition coverage for all students and an allowance for a laptop, books, health insurance and fees.
